JOB DESCRIPTION GREENHOUSE TEAM LEADER
1. Main responsibilities
- Co-ordinate and supervise the team of employees in the greenhouse
- Quality and quantity of plant lots in the greenhouse
- Registration of plant lots and working hours
As a team leader you are responsible for the team of employees in the greenhouse. Main tasks of the team will be planting of young plants in trays, distribution in the greenhouse, sorting and packing customer orders. It means you will be responsible to set tasks for each employee, keep track of their work result and manage their working hours together with the human resource department. As a team leader you are responsible for all members of the team.
2. Task list:
- (Weekly) planning of greenhouse workers
- Divide work among greenhouse employees
- Work preparation: to prepare all necessary materials for each activity
- Registration of working hours
- Registration of employees results
- Registration of planting lots
- Perform quality checks
- Keep stock list of supplies
3. Competencies Team Leader
- To be able to distribute orders
- Executive capacities
- Great sense of detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independent
- Working with time pressure
4. Necessary skills and education
- Know how to read and write Mandarin Chinese
- Good level of spoken English
- Completed at least secondary education
- At least 10 years work experience in horticulture
- Work experience as a team leader
- Good communication skills
